A Just Russia — For Truth

They appeal to voters as a Center-Left opposition party within Russia; however, the party is part of the People’s Front Coalition, headed by United Russia. The party's leader, Sergey Mironov, has expressed support for Putin, has called for amendments to the Russian constitution to allow more presidential terms, and openly supports the Wagner Group. This creates an interesting situation, as the party’s support for Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner Group can hurt their chances after the 2023 attempted coup. Core to the party's platform is its desire for a welfare state within a market economy. However, they generally support the Kremlin's policies and don't differ much on international relations or social issues. They also support the Ukraine War. They voted in favor of recognizing Luhansk and Donetsk as part of the Russian Federation, and for that were removed from the Socialist International. This party appeals to voters within democratic socialist aesthetics; however, it is an extension of United Russia.
